Exhibitions & Galleries
A major focus for the Borneo Exhibition Group WA Inc (BEG) is to present their
exhibition, "Sandakan: The story that must be told". This collection of photos,
replica memorabilia, family profiles and articles relating to various incidents that
occurred in British North Borneo during the period of Japanese occupation in
World War II. The exhibition boasts a 13 metre mural (painted by a daughter of a
soldier that died whilst captured by enemy forces during the now famous death
march that took place along the track from Sandakan to Ranau.

The exhibition is then returned to Perth for presentation in Perth, Western Australia, at a location TBA, until 29th Aug,
moving onto Boyup Brook in the South West from 11th Sep to 14th Sep 2010

One of the three 'secret radios' still intact and recovered after the
war in the Batu Lintang POW Internees Camp in Kuching,
Sarawak. A similar receiver and trasnmitter was also
constructed in Sandakan POW Camp. See our working receiver
